So much for the city

Finally, the entry you've all been waiting for...or maybe not. So, here I am in Inverness. I am working at a hostel and so far really enjoying it. Perhaps I should tell a bit about the last week or so and bring everyone up to speed.

I took the train to Inverness from Oxford. A grand total of ten hours on the train. The first train broke down just inside the Scottish boarder, so I missed my connection and got a free hour in Edinburgh. It was really nice to wander around a bit and see what has changed. Rose st. has some new shops on it, unfortunetly Gerry's sandwich bar was closed, so I didnt get to say hi, but I will have to make a trip there sometime.
I got to the hostel and was introduced to the other employees and pretty much went straight to bed. The next night I worked a night porter shift with one of the other girls (Ruth, Australian - who is going to Canada in a few days incidentally) and yesterday I did a cleaning shift. So, tonight is my first night portering shift on my own. Lets hope it all goes well. No rowdies. well, This was sort of pathetic as far as updates go, but not too much has been going on. I settled into a room in the hostel and have been wandering around inverness quite a bit. It is incredibly beautiful here and I really love it.
I have a few postcards to send still, and have an addresss, so if you want to send me mail...
Havent heard from Coryna in a while, I hope she is alright, she may be sending me text messages that I am not recieving becuase my mobile is out of minutes and I have to get it 'unlocked' before I can get a scottish phone number. well, thats all for now. hope it answers some questions!
