Well, this will probably be my last entry on this travel blog. I have been home now for 3 days and I went back to work today. My last week in Europe was busy. I spent a night in Athens airport, a night in inverness, a night on the Caledonian sleeper train to London, two nights at Jackie's house in Inverness and a night at Gatwick airport.

I came home a lot sooner than I had anticipated at the beginning of my trip, but my eight months away were really amazing. I saw part of Scandinavia, the UK, Dublin, a taste of spain and did some Greek Island hopping. I met amazing people everywhere I went and I had a blast.
I've learnt a lot from travelling on my own, as well as travelling with my friends and it is a fabulous experience to grab a backpack and hit the road. I think everyone should give it a go at some point, whether for a week or a couple years.
I think I will be staying at home for about a year now, maybe take some courses and work a bit and my next trip will hopefully be a working holiday to South America. I will have to start saving now though...
I hope that my travel journal has been enjoyable, and I hope that everyone I've met along the way will stay in touch!
