Loch Ness

Not much is happening in Inverness lately, so Laura and I went for a drive around the Loch. It took us about 2 1/2 hours, but we stopped a couple times along the way.

I tried out driving in the Uk as well when Laura let me drive her car along a deserted part of road. She put on a brave face, but I could hear the panic in her screams 'clutch, clutch!! BRAKE! STOP BEFORE THE JUNCTION!!' I dont think I will be driving here again. I have no sense of where the left hand side of the car is on the road.
We stopped by a river and saw some sheep, and stopped to pet some horses. We also stopped at a shop along the way that I visited with my family. I remembered the lochs for boats and the wire/plant shapes of loch ness monsters. I was even able to recognize the spot I stepped in dog poo...
April 2 is my last day at work, so that means I will be off to glasgow for a week to stay at Laura's house and see the city, then back to Inverness and off to Athens. I am looking forward to three weeks in the hot sun. I plan to divide my time between the beach and ruins. I'll have to go and buy some film for my camera. I am really looking forward to coming back to Canada though. It's been 7 months away now, so I am excited about seeing everyone again.
Ok, see you in May!
