Memphis

We left Austin and headed for Memphis. Home of “The King”. We underestimated the huge distances again so ended up stopping in a state park again. It was at the state park that we met a couple of people called Naft and Jill. They were pretty cool. Naft was in a bike gang called the Freewheelers and he had loads of tattoos. [read on]

Bats and Prairy Dogs

After Roswell we headed to Austin, Texas. Texas is a huge state (bigger than the UK) so we stopped along the way at a state park to camp. We really enjoy camping in the state parks as they are all so different. The country is so big and has such a diversity of animals and plants that everywhere offers something new. While we were staying at this park we saw Armadillo, Deer, and Prairy dogs. [read on]
