Big Sur and Yorkshire Tea

The drive from San Francisco was pretty long but it was a lovely drive along highway 101 which goes right along the coast. There is a 90 mile section called “Big Sur” that was really beautiful. There were lots of vista points along the way where you could stop. We even managed to see some elephant seals in the water. Here is a picture of a section of road along Big Sur. You can see a bridge and the road on the left of the picture.

There were lots of squirells at the side of the road when we stopped too. They came right up to us.

We had to camp overnight near the end of Big Sur as we were not going to make it to San Fran in one day. He stopped at a State Park and set up for the night. While we were buying some food earlier in the day I was amazed to find that the supermarket sold
“Yorkshire Tea”. It was not “Yorkshire Gold” which is my prefered tea but beggers cant be choosers. That night I had my first cup of proper tea for nearly 5 months. It was fantastic. You simply CANT BEAT TEA !!!!. Americans love coffee but I will take tea anyday.
Here is a picture of me holding the sacred box of “Yorkshire Tea”. (Notice the Target bag on my left)
