September 18, 2004hitting the beach (yup, again!)
The weather is perking up again considerably, so me and Krys decided to head out to the junction for a bit of r'n'r. Working long hours at the call centre leaves you in the position of earning money, but with no real life... Krys is looking after 4 kids all week, so both of us really felt up for a break after another long week of work... On a rather fab and glorious day (been a while since we had one of those) it was time to hit the beach... Meeting in Bondi Junction, we thought it would be rude to not go shopping first (as you do) and after getting round - finally - to getting the money back on my medicare injection a few weeks ago - I had a bit of money for a splurge... Having both bought new bikinis at Paddys last weekend, we thought it was time to model them on the beach and get a bit of colour... after going to a waxing place (mm hmmm - ouch, say no more) we hit the beach in style... we weren't the only ones with the same idea - check out the view - many many people - also many many surfers - and no, there are no pics of us in the bikinis - if you wanna see them, you gotta get yourself down the beach - we'll be the ones covered in oil somewhere determined to go brown :oP After a few hours of intense sunshine - it was time to find a happy hour... life is really hell - you just don't get it :oD I really think she is starting to like Sydney now!
