December 27, 2004A Wet and Wild day
After a lovely xmas break. we left Hervey Bay and headed south in order to return to Sydney for the New Years. Ray has called to tell me that my xmas pressie was on email. Finally managing to log on on Boxing Day morning meant that I got my xmas pressie. Dawn and I were to go Zorbing. If you, like us, had no idea what this entailed I can tell you - its THE BEST fun ever!!! They put you into a big rubber ball fill it with water, and then roll you down the hill. Yes it's a very strange thing to do, but it was the most fun. Me and D were laughing about it for days after and to be fair - it still makes me grin now. I can't find the words to describe how much fun it is rolling about in a big rubber ball filled with water... It only lasted for a few seconds, but I now can tell you hamsters are probably having the time of their lives in those ball cage things :o) Drying off, we headed off to Aussie World and the Ettamogah Pub (with a description of the beer on the side) sounds good eh? Then we were off to Wet and Wild - a massive water park on the Gold Coast to spend the rest of the day getting soaked and cooling off from the heat - bliss I tells you... Doesn't feel like christmas despite the signs we keep seeing of santas! Comments
