August 28, 2004You know we belong together....
Do you watch Home and Away? I don't, but a mate of mine, Nat is a bit of a fan. This meant that when we got up on Sunday morning and decided to switch off the tv set and do something less boring instead (just like they used to suggest on Why Don't You?) it was decided that Palm Beach was the place to go. Nat, Matt and Ad had heard of the Towncar, but had yet to be introduced, so we packed our beach stuff (ok 1 towel and a frissbee - we just weren't that organised) and piled off to the garage to pick up TC and go on an adventure... Nat is a fab of Home and Away and Palm Beach is famous apparently as the place where they film the beach scenes... I'm not a fan, so couldn't tell you if anything looked familiar, but I'm as much of a beach fan as anyone else, so Palm Beach was the one for us... It took a while for us to get there (have I mentioned at all that my sense of direction is a bit pot luck?) but eventually found the famed beach and parked up. As much as I love my camera, I still need a bit of practice when it comes to using it on timer - but this is as good as it got for a picture of the four of us. *drumroll please* and here it is ladies and gentleman... I give you: PALM BEACH!!! Hope some of you recognise it - it will make the fact that Nat spent about 4 hours humming the theme-tune worth while :oP only kidding nat xx Anyway - after a hard day of doing absolutly naff all, we tucked in to a massive fish and chips meal at one of the little beach front cafes and then went home... better than watching tv anyday!
