Months ago when I first got to Oz, I decided there was a certain place I was going to go to, and today was the day... Not too far from Brisbane is the home of the Australian Zoo. A must for me, as it is where Steve Irwin lives. I remember before I decided to go off on a wander that me and Dawn would sit around her house watching him and his Crocodile Hunter programme - addicted to it and unable to turn it off until the end - we were convinced every time he would get a chunk taken out of him the way he leaped on top of crocodiles without a care in the world... it never happened, mind - but one day :o)
