February 12, 2004Pushkar
Puskar is a holy city - this means no eggs, meat or alcohol - how will I manage? Quite easily, as it turns out :o) We arrived into Pushkar in the afternoon after one of those maniac bus drivers seemed hell bent on beating whatever personal best he had set for himself ;oP Sitting at the front of the bus was a novel and highly enjoyable experience. It was like being in the film Speed, once the bus was up to the limit, it didn't stop for anything. At a bus station, they paint the road signs onto the walls to remind the drivers of what to do :o) View image Comments
