climb every mountain

With a full day in Pushkar, I thought I'd spend a bit of time at the temples...

With the only Brahm temple in the world being situated in Puskar, it would have been rude to not go - so after a hot shower in the morning, that was where we headed to. View image
The Ghats are the holy waters where people bath to wash away their sins. View image
I saw this on the way View image- a snake charmer! The snake was a bit tired though, so just sort of flopped about a bit before returning to his basket... apparently they are illegal now, so must have been one of the few still about...?
To round the day off, a few of us decided to head up the big hill to see sunset from the temple at the top. Great idea. I swear I thought I would die :o) it was SO hot and pretty much vertical steps to get up there. Once at the top though the views were stunning View image
and the temple itself View image was home to one of the funniest priests I have encountered. View image
After the challenge of getting up the hill, I was sort of wrecked, and just flaked out for the rest of the night. Tomorrow morning wuold bring another bus ride to Jaipur.
