oh the weather outside is frightful

I woke up this morning to SNOW! It has been snowing off and on all day, so I bought myself some thermal underwear. Looks like it will be a COLD winter in the highlands! There is a big hill right behind the hostel and apparently it makes a great sledding hill when there is more snow. I inherited a pair of waterproof trousers from one of the girls who used to work at the hostel, so I will be all set for playing in the snow.

I just finished working a 50 hour week and I am knackered. The regular manager came back from holidays and wasnt very pleased to see the schedule for the past week. Coryna is in Inverness now and we are getting along really well. We swapped photos over a couple of pints and had a good talk. She is job and flat hunting and has been quite successful. Lots of potential jobs and Quite a few flats. We walked out to one today that looks pretty good. The woman who showed it to us was very friendly and it seemed like a good place. Nice and close to the city centre. I am going to stay at the hostel because the rent is cheap and I dont ever have to walk to work in horrible weather if I dont want to, I just have to go down two flights of stairs.
I bought a bus ticket today, so I can go and meet my parents next monday in Edinburgh. I am impressed with the busses. Its only 3 1/2 hours to get to Edinburgh rather than the 5 it took on the train. Its also more than 1/2 the price. I am looking forward to going back to Edinburgh for a visit. I'll hopefully grab a bite a Gerry's sandwich bar and say hi to my old boss. I am also excited to see my parents. They flew to London yesterday I think, so are probably recovering from jetlag at the moment.
Well, that about sums up the events of the past little while. Not too exciting, except for the snow!
