I am a 26 years old Flemish girl about to embark on the longest trip (4-5 months) I have ever been on. My itinerary is quite simple: I will journey eastwards until I can't go any further without having to swim across the ocean. My goal is Nikolaevsk-na-Amure, on a map that's almost on a straight line from my home town of Antwerp, Belgium.

Besides travel my interests include music (neo-folk, death metal and other mostly very obscure stuff), literature (my favourite writers include Vladimir Nabokov, Lieve Joris, Clive Barker and Milan Kundera), languages (I will take a 4-week Russian course during this trip) and beer.
