The wedding

Getting up early and heading for our included breakfast - me and Krys made sure we gorged to save on food later in the day - backpackers are cheapskates!

Leaving the motel we followed Amy's directions to a scenic viewpoint just down the road and saw great views of brisbane.
Then we headed off to the wedding - we didn't want to be late so we figured if it took us that long to get out of Sydney when we've both lived there for months it could take hours to get to the wedding venue.
We were wrong - we were there within 20 minutes - including the shop at the lookout.
Luckily the Parklands are stunning so we got the chance to wander about and enjoy them and visit the cafe for a smoothie before the wedding.
The wedding was stunning - Amy and Dan looked lovely and the day itself was amazing.
After the wedding, we headed off north to Beerwah. Krys really wanted to go the the Australian Zoo and had seen my photos from when I went in August, so as we were just about an hour away - we went to stop in Beerwah to get there in the morning.
