Well, it was kind of half and half in the end...

I was supposed to be in Phillip Island for the Moto GP, but like many things in life, it just wasn't meant to be.
Following the week of hell at work (you don't want to know) and various set backs, it became apparent that it just wasn't on the cards for me to be heading off to Melbourne for the racing.
It's really not been the best of weeks for me - but on the plus side - the weather has been amazing. It even got to 38 on Wednesday (according to my best mate, it was the hottest October day on record or something - it was HOT that much is for sure)
Anyhow - I sunbaked and window shopped on Saturday (always likely to cheer me up) got pissed Saturday night, and then recovered from it while watching the GP in bed today...
Tonight a trip to the cinema is on the cards - heard Shaun of the dead is good, so maybe???
Another bonus of this week is that Krystyna got a care package from home - and it contained REAL MAYONAISSE!!! bliss - we spent yesterday morning munching on egg mayo butties - pure luxury i tell you!
It wasn't Hellmans, but it was better than the stuff they have here :oP
I'm now looking forward to tuna mayo later in the week - am I a party animal or what?
