June 02, 2004Glenelg
On the far side of Adelaide, Glenelg is where the best beaches in South Australia are. If you're staying in Adelaide city, then you just have to jump onto the historic Glenelg tram Luckily for me, I spent a few days living there, and managed to explore to my hearts content. With palm trees scattered about View image and funky buildings, Glenelg is an ace place to wander about. There's no rush here - just loads of people mooching about - perfect! In 1963, Rodney Fox was mauled by a shark. Instead of hating the creatures with a passion, hes created a museum the shark experienceand has dedicatd his life to research and preservation. A fab place for a day out. They also have the BEST falafel sandwiches here! :o) Comments
