April 18, 2004another weekend
Or mid-week break? Eitherway - it was 2 days off (Friday and Saturday) for a bit of RnR. Once the mundane stuff was out of the way (laundry etc - my life is glamourous in the extreme - I decided to head on out to some of the places I haven't been to before... (not hard considering Im travelling in all new terrain for me!) I wandered down to Elizabeth Harbour to watch the expensive boats sail about (how the other half live) and finish the end of the book I swapped with Naomi a week or so ago (100 years of solitude - good read) and sunbathed as I read. Bliss! The afternoon and evening were spent on the roof terrace at the hotel with a bunch of the others staying there - check this out for a sunset: View image, View image, View image Saturday I got up early determined to head on out to Coogee. With the weather report promising 27degree loveliness, I figured the hot totty would be out displaying their pecs in the sunshine... unfortunatly for you and me both, I got sidetracked and had my hair cut instead :o) It's very nice though, but I can understand you're disapointment in not getting surfer pics to drool over... I'm kicking myself too :oP After getting my hair cut, and feeling all "just stepped out of a salon'ish" I sashayed down to the local park and took a few pictures of the boats there, and lucky for me there were more than a few sexy hunks sunbathing there aswell - but i didn't take any pictures to share as I'd have looked like a right pervert hiding behind trees and taking photos of blokes lying on the grass... so you're gonna have to use your imagination.. think Brad Pitt in fight club in skimpy little shorts dotted about all over the place... I swear I had to control myself severly or I'd have swooned right there in the park and fallen into the harbour... Am I turning into a perving shopaholic or what? On second thoughts, don't answer that one... oh yeah - and i agree with Dan, there is no good mayonnaise on this continent (or not that I have discovered yet) Hellman's - I miss you :o( Comments
