I`m looking for travel companions for a trip around the Mongolian countryside to share the costs of jeepn rental etc. in late august/early september, for a duration of one to two weeks. Most of all I want to visit Kharkhorin and Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur - for a combination of culture, history, nature, hiking and camping. My idea is to travel to Tsetserleg by public tranport or hitching, and look around there for a jeep to bring us to Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur, pick us up a few days later and drive us to Kharkhorin with stops at interested places en route. And then from Kharkhorin take a bus back to Ulaan Bataar. Alternatively we could start and end at Kharkhorin and hire a jeep there to go to Naiman Nuur and the Orkhon waterfall, and/or the places I mentioned above. But these are just ideas, I`m open to other suggestions as well.
