Isla Margarita
7 Mar – 13 Mar, 2005
Isla Margarita. Beaches, boat trips, forts, dolphins, cocktails, and sunsets.
A beach full of pelicans.
Joanne with a new friend!
Miles and miles of deserted beach. Odd thing, though, was that it was waist deep in shells!!!
Sunset to drink Margaritas by – Juangriego, westerly facing beach on Isla Margarita.

Nice to see this photos, I was living at the island 5 years ago (Porlamar) and I miss it.
How is playa del aqua now? I hear there had been a storm there a while ago that wiped out many of the restaurants and bars at the beach – any news from this?
Regards

Hi Roxanisis,
No, we did not see any evidence or hear of any storm. Everything seemed wonderful and intact when we were there. Glad you liked the photos.

Hi, Joanne
Nice blog and what a nice trip!!! We are planning to go to Isla Margarita. My wife wants to swim with dolphins. Where is it? Are there an Aquarium or something like that? In what beach/town?
Thank you very much
