Bulging in Bulgaria
Monday, September 19th, 200515 Sep – 19 Sep, 2005
Oh, how we ate. Valentin and Mariana fed us well. Do you remember Valentin, our “policeman” friend? He and his family looked after us so wonderfully when we were robbed in Bulgaria in 1995. Well, no longer in the force, he has struck out on his own and is now practising law.
And Georgi, their son, now a young man and speaking perfect English, was a joy to spend time with. And “Kiko”, Kyril, keeping us entertained with antics.
We didn’t stay long. Just a few days. We tripped locally, including to a nearby town to view Europe’s only mainland geyser. Extremely impressive.
