Instead of calling people trying to sell insurance - I'm now accosting them on the streets.. My jobs just keep getting better, huh? I'm now a charity cash collector - one of those cheery folk who ask you for loose change. It's actually a really fun job to do - I'm outside all day - talking to randoms on the street - and getting paid to raise funds for good causes. Not bad eh? So at the end of the day - I'm more tanned than the day before - and feel all deep down happy and content about the world - this is what a job is meant to feel like ;o) Next time you see a collector on the corner - give - or if you can't afford to give - at least stop for a chat, or even just smile... The only downside to this job is that you become completely invisable to half the pedestrians as soon as you hold the dreaded bucket. Oh yeah - and the flies are pretty bad too :oP Comments
Loved your Brissy pics! You'll be as brown as a berry for your next adventure with TC - I'm not jealous at all of course, being the same colour as a milkbottle! Posted by: Snazzy on December 4, 2004 02:05 PM |
