jess’s daily haiku

we will keep these updated – so keep checking back on this post for more of them… =)

crowded bangkok streets
no end to the dust that lies
covered head to feet

hot hot hot hot hot
hot hot HOT hot hot hot hot
hot hot hot it’s fucking hot!

mixed plate offerings
incense; lotus; a monk’s prayer
loving tears release

*malia’s note: awwwwww… thanks jess.

bang saen’s tide retreats
rippling waves of soft wet sand
quick children’s footprints

wide-eyed visitors
found in a foreign market
crispy fried crickets

surprise gourmet brunch
morning stretches in the pool
thai massage at night

miss hawaii sign
kind gesture from family
welcome to bangkok

smoke filled casinos
elaborate water shows
macau as vegas

strange macau cocktail
old death in silent boxes
benches for new life

ferry to kowloon
talking over tea and scones
goldfish to follow

martini morning
winding cab ride to shek-o
hike by clear water

live shrimp; twitching fish
anxious over dense hot steam
one last angry splash!
