The world according to K

So its here, one more day to go before the big trip.
The last two weeks have been unbelievably hectic. I’ve tried to get round to see as many as I could, and the night at Carole and Phils has to be one of the best nights ever.

Lessons learnt- do not contempory dance in company that you are not sure of, do have a real life musical in your home, do have talented kids – around you ( DO A DEAR),dont be sick in a car on the way home ( not me I hasten to add but you know who you are) do not deliberately deface a childs work of art,do have the best ever friends in world – luck lucky me

It been one big party and at times it has felt like I have attended my own wake- thanks to everyone for your kind comments, thoughts and for making the effort to turn up or help out with the house move. I am ready to go now – and to be honest I can’t do with any more emotional goodbyes……too much

Tonight will be a quiet meal with Ma Pa Sarah Paul at least that’s the intention.

The ruck sack has been packed – repacked – packed again but it gets no smalller. I have made the big decision to post out my Everest trip gear as there is no way I can carry that through India.

I will be flying out Tuesday 10.30 Manchester – London Heathrow- Delhi – Bombay ( 5 hours in Bombay Airport ) but luckily will be in the first class lounge – great tip to buy a priority pass membership- thanks to M Austin for that one

From Bombay its then on to Thiruvananthapuram Airport where I will be met at the airport by a friend of Mohan’s my Yoga teacher. Cheers Mohan.

A couple of days in TH and then on to the ASHRAM in Neyyar Dam. I have no idea how basic its going to be – but I can’t wait for the challenge.
