Pre Trip Jitters
Thursday, February 8th, 2007Yea well its official- 13th March is D day the start of my world trip. As a woman of a discerning age the pre trip jitters have manifested themselves as a couple of sleepless nights even resorting to drinking ovaltine at 4am. Days are spent being a pin cushion with all the injections I ‘ve had and travelling to Birmingham and other exotic places to get an Indian / nepalese Visa. My rucksack ( Huge DECISION) wheels or no wheels has been gifted to me – and I have packed it allowing only a bit of room for clothes- rest of it is a medicine cabinet.
Luxury items – miniature Jo Malone and travelling feather pillow
Had fantastic advice from so many people ranging from what puri tabs, Primark knicker deals and lightweight sleeping bag I should take to ” why aren’t you going first class?
Worst suggestion – travelling toilet seat covers!!!!!!
Itinery as follows-13th March D Day
India Kerala – for one month to do a yoga teaching course
24th April Nepal- trekking to Everest Base Camp!!!!!!!
16th May – August Thailand – hopefully Cambodia and Vietnam- Malaysia
August 1st – Nov 1st – Australia
Nov- Jan – New Zealand- being joined by my ma and pa
Mid Jan – Early March 2008 Chile – Peru Ecuador Brazil
Last Stop on or around 10th -13th March 2008 cheeky stop MADRID
