Lesson learned.

Australia Day 2006

Living as a backpacker means that either you, or everyone else you meet moves on at some point. Now I'm settled here, it happens less and every so often, someone returns.

I've known Maddy for about a year, bumping into her at road side cafes while out with the bikes, but I got to know her a lot better over the last couple of months.

The close of a year always makes me think and take stock. 2005 has been a really good year for me.

Following Carols by candlelight, I was finally getting into the Christmas spirit.
