I've known Maddy for about a year, bumping into her at road side cafes while out with the bikes, but I got to know her a lot better over the last couple of months.

She encouraged me at a christmas dinner to go out on a long run out to Wiseman's Ferry in December, and was so very encouraging, enthusiastic, warm, bubbly and friendly I know that even though she was one of my newest friends, she would in time become one of my best friends.

Tragically, lest week on her way back from a funeral she came off her bike and was killed.
The memorial service was beautiful and really honoured the memory of a lady I was so looking forward to getting to know better. she will be greatly missed by all who knew her, and I wish I had had the chance to know her better.
