Even on holiday I don't get a lie in!

I was meeting Maureen bright and early in the morning to go for a girlie shopping trip. We met up at the office (yup - I went to work on my holidays!) and went on from there. Obviously due to the intense girly gossip nature of the morning, there were no photos (again) but catching up properly with Maus was ace. The day was HOT and lovely, the beer for lunch was cold, the shopping was excellent, and the drive out to Philip Island was such a laugh Id have been happy to have had to go twice the distance.

Arriving on the Island was something I've been looking forward to for so long - and with the weather being so fantasticly bright all the pics have turned out looking really dark - so you'll have to just believe me when I say that it was hot hot hot! :oD yay!

Meeting up with Ray (who'd got here the night before and discovered the tent poles were broken and had to do a bit of emergancy repairing - doh!) - we had a little wander around one half of the track View image and then into the show tents to ooh and aah over the pretty bikes (and for the blokes to ooh and aah over the pretty promo girls)

Then to make my day even more memorable - we got tickets for a helecopter ride over the island. Flying in a helecopter is something Ive ALWAYS wanted to do and never had the opportunity to try. For $50 it'd have been rude not to do it.
