One of the things on the list of "things to do while I travel the world" was horseriding. I rode a camel in India, an elephant in Thailand, and finally in Australia I managed a horse ride. (even though I am no longer backpacking - the list is still there to be completed) I have discovered that without any lessons at all - Im not comfortable going any faster than a nice sedate stroll - but luckily for me after a half hour of jiggling madness and being jolted about in a mad dash away from the stables, we got the chance to pick our own way back to the ranch - so we chilled out and sauntered back over the next couple of hours. ... and I really should have worn a different bra - ohmygod did I suffer - I couldn't walk for about 3 days afterwards either - yikes! I am DEEPLY unfit!
