long weekends rock - and I've been waiting a year for this one.

Last year things came up, circumstances changed, and I wasn't able to go to the Moto Gp on Phillip Island, Victoria, This year everything was different. The flights and 2 days off work were booked, and Ray had already ridden down to Melbourne during the week - due to the distance, lack of confidence for such a long ride, and problems still not fixed since the crash, I decided to fly.

I arrived in Melbourne and luckily for me I get on ace with the people in the Melbourne office at work - Brendan who works there came and got me from the airport and took me out for lunch. I then mooched about Melbourne shopping and generally wandering about (I love Melbourne, and have only been here once before) Then I went into the office to meet everyone, and off for dinner and stayed in Geelong with Brendan and got to meet his wife and son, and generally had a really nice welcoming time.
No photos though, as I left everything in the boot of the car to wander about, so didn't have my camera with me - doh!
