Should have been heading of to HaGiang and the mountains today but they are forcasting a heatwave from tomorrow with temps of up to 38 degrees feeling like 46 degrees. So for some reason decided to suffer by the beach spending my day swimming rather than do a dgbeath hike in the mountains. Hopefully will get away next week depending on weather. Thats the one good thing of never making proper plans, they can’t go wrong !,
Has been lovely here with the great scenery, perfect weather and friendly atmosphere
and quite quiet. Admittedly at night get a bit hectic, every evening the children have been out around the streets doing the chinese lion dancing, banging the drums and the fire eating tricks, something to do with celebrating the young children that die or whatever. Certainly very lively with loads of kids and babies everywhere partying. Just don’t mention it to the social services or health and safety in the uk, they would lose the plot. Even to me sending a 3 year old to school until 4.30 pm in this heat then letting them out on tthe streets till 10pm seems a lot, their teaches must be good wiith tired children.
