Its has almost been a year since we had the greatest experince of our time. I miss New Zealand a lot and I think about it all the time. I hope that we are able to go back and relive the unbelievable journey again. Now, I am a freshman at Highland High School and on the Freshman football team. I play wide reciever and cornerback. Its been going good, but our first game got canceled because of really bad storms and we lost power for about 2 days from the storms. Then about a week later we lost it again for abour 5 hours. Before football, Timmy and I made the Highland 13 year – old All – Stars for basball. We made it to the State Tournament and made one of the Final Four teams out of 16 teams in the state of Indiana. Then we lost our next game and became the 4th best team in the state of Indiana.
My Uncle Max and his friend Sue are leaving for France, but Timmy and me aren’t able to go because of school. I hope they have a fun and safe trip in France. Sue, don’t let my uncle use all the money on himself. Have a fun trip.
When we were in New Zealand Timmy was the bigger twin and now I am the bigger twin and now we look alike. Timmy has been working out every night.
I hope Gandalf can safely guide two young hobbits through Middle-Earth Again Namarie

The Greatest Thing

Monday, March 19th, 2007

Hello there,
It has been four months since I was able to smell the flowers in hobbiton, climb and see the mountains, and been able to live a lifetime chance. Many things have changed since New Zealand. I still have been doing good in school. I’m about to go to High school. I just got done with a basketball league and my team came in first. I’m in baesball now, I just tried out for a team. I don’t know what team I am on. I still miss New Zealand and I always think about it and I wish I could go back to it. I look at pictures and I almost start to cry because I miss it so much. Some people still ask me how much fun my trip was. I say it was the greatest trip of my life. It was the greatest trip cause I was with two of the greatest people in the world. I met some of the coolest people I could meet. Timmy has a girlfriend now and they have been going out for four months. She’s ok, but sometimes I don’t like her at all. I think when I get older I will go back and smell the flowers of hobbiton. The people I miss in New Zealand is Vic and Raewyn, they were the greatest tour guides in the world. I miss Heather and Vivian too though. They were two fun people to hang out with. The greatest thing I miss is, my Uncle successfully guiding two young hobbits through Middle – Earth. Namarie.

P.S. I love you very much Uncle Max… you are The Greatest Uncle in the world.

A word from Thomas

Well. . . Im back. Our journey through Middle – Earth has come to an end. I really miss waking up and seeing the mountains, sheep, and seeing Vic and Raewyn, and the tour group. Our journey was everything I dreamed it would be. I loved the entire journey especially meeting Bret Beadie, Daniel Reeve, Ian Brodie, Andrew Adamson, Chris Rutten, and most of all Vic and Raewyn. It was some much fun Horseback riding, climbing up Edoras in the rain and crossing the streams, going to all the sites because when you were there, it felt like you were part of the movie. I thought it was so awesome when we went to Gladden Fields our tour guide dressed up and when we went to Edoras our tour guide dressed up too. It was fun dressing up and re-enacting the scenes. This is a journey to remember for a life time. I thought it was great. The Vic and Raewyn gave us awards at our last night. I want to say, that my uncle is the greatest person in the world for succesfully guiding two hobbits through Middle – Earth. Namarie

Its been a long time since I wrote a blog. Now were do I start from. I got ” A ” on my last report card. I just finished school. I’m on the White Sox for baseball and my team isn’t very good, we are 5-10.  I got lots of hits and my best hit was a triple. On my report card for the last grading period, I got a 101% in Social Studies. Tim and me saved about $550. We are getting there.  I made a clock in Tech Ed. It.s a Hexagon, with cherry stain and has a Crucifix dial. I’m almost finished with The Fellowship of the Ring. I’m a very slow reader, but I very much enjoy reading. I just turned 13 on May 12. Well that’s all I have to write and I love your comments everyone.

Dear Fans,

I just finished the Hobbit. Now, I’m reading The Fellowship of the Ring and it’s such a great book. I’m at the part where Frodo, Sam, and Pippin meet Merry in the fog, when Farmer Maggot drove Frodo, Sam and Pippin to Ferry to go to BuckleBerry. I’m doing good in school, Now I’m in the White Sox baseball team in Highland, for the major league. I’m also in football for my school and we are called the Spartans. I play WR, Safety, and Corner. Right now I’m in Spring Break and I have been saving a good amount of money, to go to New Zealand. And now all my teachers are excited that I’m to New Zealand, especially my Social Studies teacher. She knows someone in NZ.. Thanks for all the comments you guys have sent me I really loved them. Thanks Again.

Dear Fans,

You all remember that i’m a big Lord of the Rings Fan. My favorite character is Legolas.  I’m going to tell you about my progress to get to New Zealand.  I have been saving money to go.  I have been getting good grades.  All my teachers love that i’m going to NZ, especially my social studies teacher, she is so excited for me to go, because she knows someone that lives there.. Back to me, I told you I’m getting good grades and on my math test, I got a 90%.  In science I’m bringing it up little by little. In social studies, we just did our African Project. My Project was on Tanzania, and now we are watching Hotel Rwanda. We are watching it because, we are now learning about the fight with the Hutus and the Tutsis.  When the Hutus started massacering the Tutsis because they blamed them for their Presidents death.  I have been getting my math grade up because it’s a little hard class. I’ve been worrying about my grades a lot, because I really want to go to New Zealand.  I have been doing  great in Art, even if I’m not a very good Artist, but my Two older brothers are awesome at Art.  In Art now, I’m drawing a robbin in a black background.  This is some of my progress to get to New Zealand.

Thomas – 263 DAYS TO GO

Saturday, February 11th, 2006

Dear Fans,

I’m a boy who is a big Lord of The Rings fan.  My Uncle introduced me into Lord of The Rings when I was little.  Lotr has been my favorite movie and book all my life.  I know a lot about Lord of The Rings because I read the books and my Uncle told me most of it.  I know most of J.R.R. Tolkien (John Ronald Reuhl Tolkien).  He was a kid with a great imagination. He was very smart person.  He liked to be in different worlds.  He thought about lots of different things.  Now back to me.  My favorite character is Legolas.  Legolas is an Elven Prince from Mirkwood.  LOTR is not only full of Magic.  It’s about things you could try to do.  LOTR is about strength, friendship, being smart, and not giving up.  Now you know a big LOTR fan.  My Uncle, my brother, and me.  We are now trying to save money to go to New Zealand (where they made the movie) for a big LOTR tour. We can walk into the shire, Rivendale, Mt Doom, Rohan, Osgiliath, Minas Tirith, and more.  We’re going in October.  We’re trying not to skip work or school. My Uncle is working a long time to save money.  We are trying to make “A” Honor Roll in school. This is my letter about my relationship with Lord of The Rings.
