August 08, 2005Super Gran
Since the typhoon we have had constant rain and been remaining pretty much indoors. The Ou Jiang River has swollen and our favourite place for drinking beers is currently underwater. So alas Trev has been taking some time out and reading one of the many novels I brought along for him. Today he was laying down looking out the window. Pretty boring really, the normal view is of some roof tops and maybe a cloud covered mountain. Not today, our neighbours must be having some trouble with their gutters and it seems Nai Nai (Granny) had drawn the short straw. Yep a double take and some laughing from us had us whip the camera out in shock as this little old lady was precariously balancing on a bamboo ladder on her roof. Comments
