December 27, 2004Christmas
Well Christmas has come and gone, and I must say we had a pretty good time. For the past month the Kindy have been preparing for the annual Christmas Eve concert. It's quite funny, they use it as the schools major promotional activity for the year. So while they mightn't understand or even know the meaning of Christmas they have certainly grasped the "retail" side of Christmas. The kids were absolutely exhausted by the time the concert came around but they looked great and it went off without a hitch. Trev and I got up and sang Rudolph complete with actions. I was adamant I would try to avoid all TV cameras. And as such I was moving around all night. But it turns out we were captured and on the Christmas Day evening news. Christmas Eve we were still wondering where our parcel from home was, but it arrived mid afternoon and made us very happy. Thanks Mum!! The cheezels didn't last long, but the ham is still going strong and is much better than last years Jinhua ham. Our New Year holiday has been cut short to just 3 days so we aren't sure where we'll be heading now but I'm sure we'll figure it out. Comments
