My Mum is often one to talk a good story leaving you wondering if it will ever happen. When I left for China she said she be up to visit at some stage and this was one story I thought would be all talk and no action. My Mum has now been to China. She came and went in a flash and by all accounts had a great time here. Her and Brian arrived in China in Beijing, saw the wall, Tiananmen, Forbidden City and Temple of Heaven plus the inside of a few markets before training down to Shanghai for a couple of days. There I must confess they say more of Shanghai than Trev and I saw in the 8 or so visits we made there last year from Qingtian. But then we were making the Shanghai run for cheese and conversation. From Shanghai they flew to Guangzhou where I met them and brought them out to Zhaoqing for a week long stay. Their stay in Zhaoqing went very quickly, but we managed to introduce them to some of our friends here and also see a few of the sights like Dinghu Mountain and Seven Star Lake. They safely left for Hong Kong by boat and then were making their way to Bali to catch up with friends. Comments
