September 24, 2004Kindy
While the first week was spent on tender hooks hoping no one would cry, it seems I am no longer the big foreign monster but the big friendly foreigner. My classes often end in hugs and if they were any bigger we'd end up in a big stacks on in the middle of the classroom floor. The kids are beginning to recognise their new English names and I can play games a lot more easily. In all, while Zhaoqing is not what I expected I am really enjoying Kindy, who'd have ever thought.
