August 05, 2004Temple of Heaven
We arrived in Beijing on Wednesday morning checked in to the Far East Youth Hostel hired bikes and hit the town. Our first stop was the Temple of Heaven, having missed it last time we wanted to make sure we saw it. It's fantastic, a huge green park in the middle of a city is rare here and it was a delight to amble through. Beijing had turned on a beautiful day, blue sky no pollution it was great. We walked through all the main areas fought through the crowds but managed to see everything. I fully recommend it. Comments
