Morocco Bound…
It looks like I may have to sit on my suitcase…
I’m a little dismayed that I had less stuff when I traveled around the world then I do for this two week journey to Morocco. There are, however, a number of contributing factors.
First of all: gifts. I’ve got t-shirts, chocolates, perfume and other assorted items, something for everyone in Zakaria’s house. The family is so kind as to let me stay with them, it’s the least I can do.
Second: the weather. I found out that’s it a full twenty degrees warmer there then the last time I checked, just a few days ago, making it a surprising 90 degrees in March! This is quite a temperature jump from our chilly New York weather, which admittedly started getting a lot nicer the past two days. I had to reconsider every item of clothing I intended to bring, add some lighter stuff to the mix and repack everything. I definitely have more stuff then I started with.
But you know what…?
It doesn’t matter!
I have proved to myself I can live out of my turtle shell backpack for 8 months. Indeed. But it doesn’t mean I always have to go that way. Plus, this trip is to one city and back….I can’t remember the last time I did that.
So…it’s fine. It looks like everything will fit. It’s all neatly organized. I’ve got everything I need (undoubtedly).
And once I give away the gifts…they’ll be room for shopping!

Lizzie – have an excellent time – relax, enjoy and soak up some warm weather for me. I need a tan!
Katie,
a tan…really? Any special reason fo that….?
Philip
My goodness…it’s hot here! In the 90s, but not killer. No luck on the tan yet…we’ve spent the hot hours in doors, but we’re walking all about today, so it’s likely.
Having a FANTASTIC time…no worries. 🙂
