Well, the time has come already for our adventure. Sean and I can hardly believe it. He will be going off to college as soon as we return, so this is the last taste of summer for both of us.

Many of you already know that my mother passed away recently. She went on a similar journey to Japan years ago, and came back home with me. I will be thinking of her often.
