November 13, 2005Long Dan Shan
Recently we've been catching up with some primary school English teachers. These guys generally go camping on the weekends, but as I have most of my classes on the weekends, I've been unable to go along. Wang Dan and I have been meaning to climb a local hill for some weeks, so yesterday I finally took her up behind Shi Men Middle School. You can have good views of Qingtian City from up there too. I hadn't been up there since my return in July and was surprised to find a new temple part way up. Wang Dan, Er Zhen and I mucked around for a while and we all agree it's a handy place we can camp if we only have a short time. You never know, I may get a tenting experience in afterall. Comments
