After our walk up Shi Men hill we went straight to Wang Wei Hong's and Wang Jiang Dong's home. Mr Full was looking a little less red and as per normal they had put on a huge spread of food. The weather in Qingtian had coolled of dramatically and it is now Hot Pot season there. Mr Full had also got his hands on some dog meat and was keen to share it with us. It was the second time I've tried dog and I must say I'm not a great fan, I don't know if it's how they cook it but it tastes a bit like licorice flavoured tough sheep. All the regular people were at dinner - Mr Fish, Mr Hua, Qiu and his family. Dinner rapped up pretty early and Trev and I set out sights on the town. We found a new bar and had a few more drinks then walking back to the hotel we saw a bonfire and heard some singing then some "Hullo's" were shouted our way. It turned out an Electricity company was putting on a National Day party for their workers. And we had just crashed it! There was a bonfire and beer, a generator and complete with TV and karaoke machine. The novelty of foreigners in Qingtian is still high and we were asked to sing. Drinking warmish beer is one quick way to increase an already semi pissed person and in no time we were singing away. It's the first time ever in our karaoke history that Trev has told me to be quiet when I'm singing, normally he cracks the shits with me that I'm just mouthing the words. Comments
