July 22, 2004Water Cave
This afternoon the three of us went out to the Water Cave. We had heard from Nic and Mike our Kiwi friends it was an interesting place to check out. We were paddled in wooden boats inside the cave and then guided around this huge open space. Along the way we stopped and had a cool dip in some swimming holes and then the fun bit came where there is a mud slide and mud hole about knee deep. Needless to say we went a little crazy and had a bit of mud wrestling. On the way out we were still covered in mud and Sumo wanted to take a dip while we were waiting for the boat to get us. The Chinese people in the cave with us were already in awe of his size but when he went swimming they were super impressed. It wasn't until we were back outside in the light they saw his tattoo's and the kids thought these were great. He posed for a couple of pics with the kids. Nice bloke he is and all!!! Comments
Great to hear the three of you are having such a good time. The Chinese must really be in awe of the 'man mountain'. Posted by: bett collins on July 26, 2004 11:14 AM |
