Really chilling out in BKK
The long and short of it is I feel decidedly unwell today. I am on my own as Kate left to go to the River Kwai until Friday. Carmel (from Ireland) is still here until tomorrow and we are suppose to meet up tonight for dinner. Today, I dropped off laundry (nice not to have to do it!!!), grabbed lunch, will do a little shopping, and I think I will take the afternoon off:) I have had a headache for the last few days and I really think it is because of the humidity and exhaust here. It will be nice to get to the beach on Saturday. Everything seems fine there so I am still going. We went to the night market last night but the magnetic strip on my debit card seems to have worn out so I had a minor crisis when I could not get any cash out. Fun stuff! It’s all straightened out now, no thanks to the 15 minute call to my credit union. I just transferred funds to my visa and will use that for the remainder of the trip. Stressed me out, though!! Nothing like being away and not being able to get any money!! Anyway, the market was huge-Thais really know how to set up a market and shop!! 🙂
That’s all for now! Just, think 2 weeks from today and I will be back in the USA! Yikes!

Just caught up with the Southeast Asian part of your trip. Wow! What a phenomenal experience. I’m very jealous and can’t wait to see all of your photos. Sounds like you’re having a great time.
