we’ve been eating OK
Auckland, New Zealand
There’s an international feel down here at the bottom of the world.
Mamaliga with kiwi sausages and the essential garlic sauce, plus some mushroom and egg too. Our Romanian friends would be proud of us!
Grandpa-made scones.
Lasagne with salad. Is there anything better?

Hmmmmm…wondering, wondering when in 2010 we can get to that table for an international meal with you;-)
Do you think GRANDPA would share his receipe for his scones.
I had biscuits daily in my youth. My Mom made them daily, with the exceptions
of the day when she prepared cornbread. (( I will share this LITTLE BIT of ODDIETY, My Mother always wanted cornbread if cooked Cabbage or turnip greens or spinach or kale or — you get the point, if leafy greens were on the stove then a big pan of cornbread was in the oven. OH, those were the days. My Mom is 83 now and her cooking days are past. Our biscuits were soft and thick, so similar in appearance to scones.
Thank you for sharing your pictures.
