Dresden, Germany
First night, took walk. Saw the festival that was going on, and everyone just relaxing on the grass outside the enclosed stage to listen to the music. The buildings that are lit look amazing.
The second day, saw the city. Long walk along riverside, It’s a very picturesque town. The sun was shinning brightly. The buildings are enourmous and ancient. The walking trails and parks beside the river huge.
Out to palace one day, nearby town. It was one of the first palace castles, but nothing overly spectacular.
Saw the world famous opera house, and a tour of inside, and the tour in German? It was the only chance to see it, so I took the tour. Nothing like a tour in a language you don’t understand.
