Men and their “shortcuts” / Pourquoi les hommes font semblant de savoir ou ils vont?

OK. We’ve been back about 6 weeks or so, and I am still talking about Tahiti. Truth is I enjoyed the trip and writing the blog so much that I just can’t let go. To conclude on Tahiti, we rented a Bugster and went around the Moorea for half a day. It was great until Mark decided to take the road where only 4X4 seemed to go (Da!!!), and for a good reason. The morning after, I pulled open the curtains and there it was: Tahiti. I have heard of these islands since I was born and never in a million years did I hope I would make it there. It was so overwhelming! We checked out the hotel and waited for the “truck” (tahitian bus) to take us to the ferry port. The buses are very colourful, with music playing really loudly. The seats are just 3 benches placed in the length of the bus, very basic. [read on]
