We arrived in Rarotonga at 3am. We were welcomed at the airport by an old guy and his guitar, singing under flower garlands. Everybody had a flower in their hair, even the security guards and the customs officials. [read on]
We arrived in Rarotonga the morning of the day we left New Caledonia. Confused? we were too. We have crossed the date line and lived the same day twice. For us, Tuesday 20th lasted 41 hours! Anyway, we are at Vara’s, on Muri Beach. And despite the cloudy weather, we are loving it.
Nous sommes arrives a Rarotonga le matin du jour ou nous avons quitte la Nouvelle Caledonie. Confus? nous aussi. Nous avons passe la ligne de date et avons vecu le meme jour 2 fois. Mardi 20 a dure 41 heures! Enfin bon, nous sommes a Rarotonga, chez Vara’s, sur Muri Beach, et en depit du temps nuaguex, on adore.
