Campement Villageouis

I’m now staying in the Campement Villageouis (spelling?) of Ousayee in the Casamance region of Senegal. These camps are a great idea and there’s one at most of the interesting villages around here. They’re mostly on the outskirts of the village and have running water and at the very least oil lamps (the one I’m at has electricity). They have standard prices and regulated quality and the money goes to the village. Good stuff. Gotta go, the internet is expensive here…

    Asalaamu Alaikum Ghalied,

Howzit mate? Apologies for neglecting my writing duties but I’ve been busy lately. Wow you are really trekking through Africa at a good pace. I’ve also been travelling, Durban and Namibia. Went up to Richards Bay for an installation at the HiFi Corp (was my first time so far into Zululand -was Awesome!!!) The drive to Nam was hectic coverd 2240km over 2 days. Brought back some good memoirs from the 1997 trip.

So what is happening in Senegal? Or have you since trekked further South to Nigeria?? Keep Safe. Regards
