As I expected, my two friends (Tim and Brendan, the little bitches) have backed out of going to Pamplona and running with me. As of now, I am going solo and sleeping in the park, so it should be interesting. I plan on meeting one of my students there (his family lives there) and he has said that he will run. I´ll believe when I see it.

So, if anyone out there isn´t busy from about 4am until 8am on the morning of July 7th and you happen to be in Northern Spain, come join me...

What makes a good volunteer? I guess mainly, someone willing to either --

a) Run behind me and take pictures and in the process possibly sacrificing their body in the name of photography

b) The willingness (and girth) to act as a human shield for me

c) Medical training and experience with removing bull horns from the ass of loudmouthed, arrogant Americans

d) All of the above
