The weather is getting much colder and a favourite drink is becoming heated rice wine with egg in it. On Saturday at Fan Shan School the headmaster served me with this wine, which I politely drank and told a lie that it was delicious.

On Tuesday night we finally met Er Zheng's wife, Ai Feng. She is a lovely lady who is quite busy as a photographer in Wuxi and Wenzhou. Luckily she found time to come to Qingtian to catch up with the donkeys and we got to meet her.

The dinner was great and the regular crowd were there. At this dinner Bu Ping decided not to drink beer, instead he would drink the hot rice egg wine. A steaming jug came out which was a light brown, chunky looking thing. It stunk!!! Nevermind Bu Ping, Wang Dan and Cha Cha hooked into it with joy.

Then on Wednesday morning a present came for me. Lao Dou the man who took me out to Fan Shan was delivering a huge bottle of rice wine for me, because I loved it so much on Saturday.

There is a moral to this story!!
