The Story Continues

Tuesday, July 22nd, 2008

During my excitement over full moon, I may have neglected a few facts that in retrospect are fairly important. |The most important being that Lauren outlasted me at the full moon party. By 5-6ish I was done and done with bed being the only calling in the world that could possibly save my insides from being my outsides. Lauren, however, made it until well past sun up, as did Carys and Alice, so a big pat on the back to all of them. I think that the lowest common denominator between the girls is oestrogen, and my lack of it must be the reason that I went tumbling back to Carys’ and Alice’s bungalow in a sprawling mess. Scientists reading this would agree, it wasn’t my wimpy pansyness, it was genetics.

We are back on Koh Tao for what seems like a big reuinion. We have folk from all over coming to the island over the next few weeks so it should be really great fun. Already with us are Laura and Donna, 2 Irish girls we met in Laos and soon to be meeting us are too many names to mention here, but instead, I will give each and every one of them a glamorous introduction as and when they land.

The massed throngs have descended upon Koh Pagnan, the fire works are being lit, the samsong and redbull buckets are being prepared. It is time for the full moon party. The island itself seems relatively nice, that is of course, ... [Continue reading this entry]
